淡淡的生活，像靜待著某東西降臨，它可能是一樣能改寫一生的轉變，從小到大迷戀著一句說話：「三十歲前是辛苦命，過後就生活無優。」 而腦裡毫無間斷地有把聲音對我說，這就是你的命運，信我吧，慢慢再等幾年。如今過了廿幾個年頭，真的一事無成，已經符合了第一句。還有幾年時間，我當然會默默地等下去，每次耳邊響起這句話,心裡不奇然會大咸一聲：「I believe!」

97年秋，suede推出了五年來，蒼海遺珠的b-side歌曲精選，《Sci-Fi Lullabies》，此碟以雙cd發行，共27首曲目。老實說，這碟雖然不像94年推出的《Don Man Star》般，每首曲目都萬分精彩，但真正能打動和影響我的，還是較喜歡此碟的某幾首歌曲。
